Fully Brushing the walls of your duct.
VS

Them
Negative-air blown through system.
You don’t just swish water around in your mouth to clean your teeth do you?
No. You gotta brush them! You need to be gentle on your teeth and use a good soft brush to not damage the enamel coating. You can’t get your mouth clean with just rinsing it. In the same way, you can’t get your ducts clean by just blowing air through them. They already blow air, don’t they? Most negative air machines are sized to 2000CFM. That’s the size of a 5 ton blower, which is a standard size for a home in Orange County, California. Using this machine is cheap and inexpensive. It doesn’t do much, and it is the type of cleaning that gives our industry a bad reputation. The truth is, you need to BRUSH your ducts, and that’s where we come in.
Thomson Air Conditioning & Heating uses the Roto-Brush duct cleaning system
This system provides a much deeper cleaning of the duct system than a traditional “negative-air machine”. Most companies that you see offering a $200-$300 whole house duct cleaning are just hooking up a vacuum and running air through the vents. However this is about the same amount of air that your system already generates, which means the negative air systems don’t really do anything for cleaning the inside surfaces of your ductwork. To get a really good cleaning you must use a brush and vacuum approach. Each duct must be cleaned individually. The camera is often strapped to the brush attachment so we can see and make sure that each surface of your HVAC duct system is cleaned properly. Don’t pay someone to just blow air through your system, when you really need it to be actually cleaned.

We inspect the attic and the exterior of your duct system in its entirety.
We are also able to discuss routing and air distribution with you to make sure you’re getting all the air to each part of the home necessary. If you have a hot or cold spot in your home, we can address that and provide you with options to solve this issue.
Is your home hotter upstairs than it is downstairs?
We can fix that too! We are able to fix the riser duct that’s often restricted or undersized. This is a VERY common thing in Orange County homes, as most were built and sized with only a heating system in mind. In California, the building and planning departments want all duct systems in homes to be designed for heat only. This leaves the upstairs of your home extremely HOT in the summer. Not to worry. We are experts at fixing this. We’ve got you.
